Poker Basics

All-In

Betting all of your remaining chips on a single hand. When a player goes all-in, they can no longer be forced out of the pot but cannot win more than their total investment from each opponent. If other players continue betting, a side pot is created for the amounts exceeding the all-in player's stake.

Example

You have 50 big blinds and push all-in pre-flop with pocket kings. Your opponent calls with A♠Q♠ — your entire stack is at risk in one hand.
