GTO (Game Theory Optimal)
A mathematically balanced strategy that cannot be exploited by any opponent. GTO play involves using mixed strategies with theoretically correct frequencies for betting, calling, raising, and folding. While perfect GTO play is impossible for humans, studying GTO solutions helps players understand correct baseline strategies from which they can make exploitative adjustments.
Example
A GTO solver says to check-raise this flop 33% of the time with your combo draw. By mixing your strategy this way, you become unexploitable regardless of what your opponent does.
