Blockchain Poker private tables: password and access settings

In Blockchain Poker's cash-table form, choose Private and set a password to control entry. The separate Verified Only switch checks account status; it does not make a Public table private. Check both settings before you invite anyone.

For example, a group that chooses a $5 buy-in for five players needs $25 in combined entry balances, in the table's selected currency. This is an illustration, not a listed table minimum. The password does not remove rake.

The browser lobby also has Create Sit & Go and Create Tournament controls. Blockchain Poker describes password-protected registration for those formats in BTC, BCH, XEC, FIRMA, and LTC; review each form's current settings before announcing a game.

How it works

Set a private cash table and check tournament access

Set Privacy and Access separately in the official table form. Check buy-ins and rake before you create a game.

    Set the cash table to Private

    Open Lobby > Create Cash Game. In General, choose Private under Privacy and set a password. Leave it on Public only when anyone may find and join it.

    Check the separate Verified Only rule

    In the same General screen, Access offers Everyone or Verified Only. Verified Only limits accounts by verification status; it is not the privacy control. Use Private with a password for an invited cash table, then review Gameplay and Buy In before creating it.

    Create a password-protected Sit & Go

    Open Lobby > Create Sit & Go and enter a password. The game supports 2–9 players; spectators can watch, but entrants need the password.

    Create a password-protected MTT

    Open Lobby > Create Tournament and enter a password. Set the tournament options for 4 or more players. Spectators can watch, but registration requires the password.

    Share the game details

    Give invited players the game name, currency, entry amount, and password. Check the rake and settings before the game starts.

Check entry balances, passwords and rake

  • A password on a Sit & Go or MTT restricts registration, not viewing.
  • Set the format and structure when you create the game. Cash tables can run No-Limit Hold’em or Pot-Limit Omaha, with heads-up, 6 or 9 seats.

How do I make a private cash game?
Use Lobby > Create Cash Game. Under Privacy, choose Private and set a password. The separate Verified Only control checks account status; it does not make a Public table private.
Can I run a private tournament?
Yes. Use Create Sit & Go for 2–9 players or Create Tournament for an MTT with 4+ players. Enter a password to restrict registration; spectators can still watch.
Do private games have rake?
Check the rake or tournament fee on the game form before you start; a private password does not remove it.
