How redemption works at Big Pirate

Gold Coins have no cash value and cannot be redeemed. Sweeps Coins are the prize currency. Prize coins must be played through once (1x) before they can be redeemed. A cash redemption needs at least 100 Redeemable Sweeps Coins ($100).

Redemptions are capped at $2,500 a day and $30,000 to $60,000 a month, depending on VIP level. Payouts are processed within 72 hours, faster at higher VIP tiers.

Expect an identity check before the first redemption. The operator confirms your name, address and age against the details on your account.

Free Sweeps Coins

You never have to buy coins. Big Pirate gives free Sweeps Coins through mail-in requests (one a day, at least 2 Sweeps Coins), Extra Sweeps Coins Spins from in-site claims and bonus coins with Gold Coin purchases.

How Big Pirate's state list compares

Big Pirate excludes 14 states. The median across the 15 sweepstakes casinos we rank is 16, and 3 sites exclude fewer.

Big Pirate is open in Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland and West Virginia, where at least half of the other sites in our ranking are not.

It blocks Iowa, where most other sites in our ranking accept players. If you live there, look at the other reviews below instead.
