Verify before you deposit, or your withdrawal waits
You can still open a Blockchain Poker account and play without verifying. The wallet now adds a condition for deposits, though. On an unverified account, Wallet > Deposit shows a warning that funds deposited before verification cannot be withdrawn until verification is complete. You have to tick a box accepting that before the deposit address appears.
Say you deposit 0.001 BTC without verifying and win it up to 0.003 BTC. You can keep playing with all of it, but Withdraw stays unavailable until you verify. Verifying first through Crypto Poker DB also pays $125 free ($100 standard plus $25 extra), and the client lists double faucet claims for verified accounts. Withdraw asks for a password and two-factor authentication on top of that, whether or not you verify.

How to deposit Bitcoin at Blockchain Poker, and when BCH costs less
Bitcoin works, but it is the slowest and dearest of the five balances. A BTC deposit needs one network confirmation, typically 1 to 20 minutes, and the client's currency comparison still listed it as ">5 minutes" on 27 October. BCH, XEC, FIRMA and LTC show as instant.
- Open Menu > Wallet. Pick Bitcoin (BTC) in the currency box at the top right of the wallet, then stay on the Deposit tab.
- On an unverified account the wallet warns that deposits made before verification cannot be withdrawn until you verify. Verify first, or tick the box to accept that and continue.
- Copy the BTC address and send from a wallet on the Bitcoin network. BTC sent to the BCH or LTC address, or over another chain, is not a Bitcoin deposit.
- Wait for the confirmation. The balance at the top right switches to satoshis, and you play BTC tables with it. BCH tables need a separate BCH balance.
The bigger difference comes when you cash out. The comparison panel lists a BTC withdrawal fee of 2,000 and free native withdrawals for the other four coins. It gives no unit, but the BTC minimum beside it is 10,000 satoshis. Read as satoshis, cashing out the minimum costs a fifth of it. If BTC were $100,000, that is a $2 fee on a $10 withdrawal, while a $100 withdrawal (100,000 satoshis) loses 2%. The same $10 taken out as BCH, above its 100,000-satoshi minimum, carries no Blockchain Poker fee.
Your own wallet also charges a Bitcoin network fee when you send the deposit. A $1.50 fee, for example, is 3% of a $50 deposit but 0.3% of a $500 one. So BTC makes sense for a bankroll of a few hundred dollars that you already hold in Bitcoin. Compare native withdrawal minimums and fees
The client's currency panel lists free native withdrawals for BCH, XEC, FIRMA and LTC. BTC has a fee; confirm its amount in Withdraw. A SideShift conversion has its own quote. The current panel marks swaps unavailable for FIRMA, so do not assume every native balance supports conversion.
For a hypothetical swap, a $100 payment that delivers $98 of the selected currency has a $2 conversion cost. Compare the amount received as well as any stated fee. This is an example, not a SideShift quote or a Blockchain Poker fee.
- BTC minimum
- 10,000 satoshis (0.0001 BTC). The currency panel lists the BTC withdrawal fee as 2,000 with no unit shown; confirm it in Withdraw.
- BCH minimum
- 100,000 satoshis (0.001 BCH). Native withdrawal listed as free.
- XEC minimum
- 1,000 XEC. Native withdrawal listed as free.
- FIRMA minimum
- 1 FIRMA. Native withdrawal listed as free; swaps marked unavailable.
- LTC minimum
- 1,000,000 litoshis (0.01 LTC). Native withdrawal listed as free.
- Account security
- The Withdraw dialog requires a password and two-factor authentication. These security steps are separate from account verification.
- Account verification
- Optional for playing. Funds deposited before verification cannot be withdrawn until verification is complete. Verify through Crypto Poker DB and you get $125 free: the standard $100 plus $25 extra ($5 in each currency).
- Free faucet
- Standard accounts can claim 200 satoshis of BCH, 50 XEC, 0.01 FIRMA or 1,000 litoshis every 3 minutes, or 50 satoshis of BTC every 30 minutes. Verified accounts get double.
- Deposit timing
- The comparison panel labels BTC as more than 5 minutes and the other four currencies as instant. These are operator estimates; network and swap processing can add time.
- Country access
- The current client terms restrict residence and funded play in named countries, including Canada and the USA. The licence register also lists exclusions. Opening the browser client does not confirm eligibility.

How to deposit at Blockchain Poker

Open Menu > Wallet > Deposit and check country access. On an unverified account, read the withdrawal warning; verify first if you may want to cash out. Choose one of the five native balances or a supported SideShift route.

Compare the amount received, minimum and fees. A swap converts assets; it does not create an extra native table currency.

Use the displayed asset, network, address and any memo. FIRMA uses eCash. Do not send another token to a native deposit address.

Where can I find withdrawal minimums?
The 16 October client lists 10,000 satoshis for BTC, 100,000 satoshis for BCH, 1,000 XEC, 1 FIRMA and 1,000,000 litoshis for LTC. Confirm the selected currency in Menu > Wallet > Withdraw before transferring. Swap routes can have separate limits; the BCH swap tab asks for a balance of at least 100,000 satoshis.
Does Blockchain Poker have a free faucet?
Yes. The currency panel lists faucet claims of 200 satoshis of BCH, 50 XEC, 0.01 FIRMA or 1,000 litoshis every 3 minutes, and 50 satoshis of BTC every 30 minutes. Verified accounts get double. At 200 satoshis per claim, reaching the 100,000-satoshi BCH withdrawal minimum takes 500 claims, so the faucet is for trying the tables, not for building a cash-out.
