How to calculate Pot Limit Omaha equity

Pot Limit Omaha equities run closer than many Hold'em players expect because each four-card hand contains six possible two-card combinations. A hand can lead now and still face many straight, flush, set, and full-house runouts. Use the result as a showdown estimate, not as a complete betting decision.

Start with the exact four cards for each player. A rank-only description such as double-suited aces is not enough because suits and card removal change the result. Add the board when you review a postflop hand. With no board, the calculator samples complete five-card runouts. With a complete river board, the result is exact.

The most important Omaha rule is also the easiest one to misread: the final five-card hand must use exactly two hole cards and exactly three community cards. Four hearts on the board do not make a flush for a player who holds only one heart. A paired board does not let a player use three hole cards to make a full house.

Use pot equity with pot odds, stack depth, position, redraws, and opponent ranges. This tool compares exact known hands. In a real hand, an opponent can hold many combinations, so test more than one likely matchup before you treat a small edge as reliable.
